I get a lot of emails asking on how to dress up cute and stylish.
So, I decided to make this a weekly blog post. Every week I will show you guys how to wear an asuyeta piece 5 different ways.
If you want to see a specific one, just let me know by commenting below or filing out the postcard right
here!
Today I am wearing one of my absolute favorite asuyeta pieces - the
tie-dye dress.
Its available in
brown and
green for only $54.90!
For the first outfit I wore it as a tunic with a tank top underneath, over a pair of skinny jeans (Hilfiger Denim).
For the second outfit I wore it with a jersey t-shirt dress (H&M), a braided leather belt and
golden knit leggings (asuyeta).
For the third outfit I tugged it into my favorite pair of shorts (Dollhouse), with black sheer tights.
For the fourth outfit I wore it as a dress over
black shiny leggings (asuyeta)
And finally for the last outfit I tugged it into the
asuyeta blanket skirt and paired it with a pair of knit tights (H&M).
I hope you enjoyed the outfits! :)
Now its your turn, in the comments below, tell me which asuyeta piece should be next!

After getting all of our stuff delivered by the movers last Wed, we spent the entire week unpacking and getting organized.
I got rid of so much stuff and also went through all my clothes and I can tell you, I had some weird things in my closet.
So, I decided to transform some of my old stuff into something that I will actually wear.

Here is the first sweater I chopped up :)
I bought it a while back and don't know what I was thinking. Lets see, I am an A-shape, that means I have to emphasize my top half and my small waist to balance out my wide hips.
But that sweater was doing nothing for me, and made me look like I have no shape at all.
This is actually the perfect sweater for the I-shape or O-shape (more on the different shapes soon!)
Here is what you'll need:
♥ oversized sweater
♥ thick yarn
♥ large needle
♥ pretty fabric (I used an old sheet)
♥ scissors
♥ measuring tape
First I put it on and marked with a pin how long I wanted it in the front.
Then I laid it sideways (see above) on a table and cut it, so the front is short and the back is a little longer.
PS. Keep the bottom part you cut off for next weeks DIY project :)
Then I used a blanket stitch around the bottom edge.
After that I decided to add a little chestpocket to draw more attention to my top half (hint the A-shape)
I measure it 4 inches wide and 5 inches high to the bottom triangle.
Tip: I love to rip woven fabric instead of cutting it, to get that fringed look.
Then I pinned to where I wanted it to be.
And used the blanket stitch to attach it.
Voila! Done! :)
I am so in love with cropped sweater right now.
There will be a couple more sweater transforming DIY projects coming, so come back and tell all your friends about it :)

I am writing this while sitting between a billion boxes...
Anyways, a few days ago, we took a little road trip to Melba, ID - a tiny town where my husband used to live as a child.
I really love the mountains and every morning we get to watch the sun rise from behind the mountains.
I will be posting pictures of my studio as soon as we get it all set up :)
Have a wonderful weekend!

New Years Eve was the first day it snowed a little bit.
So we went for a long walk to one of my favorite places -
The Outdoor Center.
I took some images along the way. When we got there, we had some coffee and sat by the fire.
I hope you enjoy looking at the images as much as I enjoy taking them.
Have a wonderful day!
